Monthly balance sheets and annual statements giving financial documentation about a Great Northern Railway subsidiary that managed real estate holdings and other GN properties in the Bellingham Bay area of northwestern Washington. The company was disincorporated in 1936. Included are balance sheets of its subsidiaries, especially the Hotel Fairhaven (1892-1901) and the Whatcom Saw Mill (1891-1900).

The Rexford, Mont., station of the Great Northern Railway was established in 1903. It was closed in 1972 when the railroad was rerouted due to the flooding of the area behind the Libby Dam.
